Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch (23cm) round cake pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
4. Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and whisk until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups (400g) powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

2. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
3. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
4. Fold the whipped cream into the butter mixture until well combined.
Assembly:
1. Once the cake is completely cool, split it in half horizontally using a serrated knife.
2. Spread the creamy filling over the bottom half of the cake.
3. Top with the top half of the cake.
4. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
