Heart Shape Vanilla Frosting Cake

Ingredients:
For the cake:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

For the frosting:

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan (about 9 inches).
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter until creamy. Add the dry ingredients and milk, alternating, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Beat just until combined.
4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
7. For the frosting, beat the butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until smooth and creamy. Stir in vanilla extract.
8. Once the cake is completely cool, frost the top and sides with the frosting.

Tips:

- To ensure the cake releases from the pan, make sure to grease and flour it properly.
- If you don't have a heart-shaped cake pan, you can use a round cake pan and carve the cake into a heart shape after it cools.
- Decorate with your favorite toppings, such as sprinkles, chocolate shavings, or fresh fruit.
